a poor imitation of catching up

I am doing exactly what I said I wouldn't do...getting TOO busy to write about the wonderful life I have here in Massachusetts, at home again at the Farm.

This is just a short check in to promise a longer, explanatory blog either tomorrow or Saturday.

Things are great, busy busy and staying that way for a while. Now doing research for places to visit in Rhode Island (Newport). Going to visit my brother A2 next weekend for a day, then he may come back for a day to be spent at the Farm. Would be cool, as he has never been here, and also, I just love to show people the place that I love so much!!

Speaking of A2, wanted to send a huge HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY wish to my niece, Monster Niece G in California. Wish I could be there celebrating with my little monster! I am sending nothing but love and happiness to you, Monster Niece G!! Aunt Monster loves you so much!

And, since I am not leaving my beloved readers with much, let me at least share a beautiful poem that best friend Mummy Dearest shared with me. This goes out to C, who is going on vacation this week. Happy travels Friend!

High Flight
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered
wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long delirious, burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew -And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untresspassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.
