"I feel Tuesday and Wednesday"

Image
I hate Wednesdays, mostly because I work the late shift. But this morning I have to go in for an early morning meeting and then still close. Sucks. Being in charge sucks sometimes. The other thing I hate about Wednesdays is the whole "hump day," business. I hate when people say, "Happy Hump Day!" or when ChicagoBoy texts it to me--I may eventually tell him how much I hate "Hump Day," we're just not there yet. I also just hate that it's midway through the week, yet Friday feels so far away still. It's just got that feel to it too. And now I have this to hate about Wednesdays because inevitably someone brings it up EVERY WEEK. It's like every time I forget this , and someone mentions it and then I'm whistling it for another damn 3 days! All this thinking of Wednesdays made me think of my favorite day related things: weekday related feelings , or keeping track of where you are in the week. As for me, I'd rather be at home on a Sund...

I'm thinking a head

If the kids aren't scared of the library yet--this will do the trick. Now I can combine my loves of: dressing up for Halloween, wearing a costume of a "literary" character, and scaring the hell out of the kids...and my coworkers. Picture found here .

what do you get when you guzzle down sweets?

Well, if you couldn't figure it out--I was an Oompa Loompa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (one from the old and ONLY movie , as far as I am concerned!) B1 was Willy Wonka and Yannick the German was Violet Beauregard. So fun.

Clue #3

Clue #3: I work (along with others like me) for a famous candy maker.

clue #2

Yesterday I gave the following clue for my Halloween costume: Clue #1: My costume is a character from a children's book (and now movies) Clue #2: My namesake likes to sing lyrical songs. Guesses?

oh, my Gentle Jesus

Oh, my Gentle Jesus! I think I found a Halloween costume that is the end all, be all. I nearly peed myself when I found this while doing some shopping at Oriental Trading Company's website for Library X's Halloween party. It is Count Chocula of children's breakfast cereal fame. (Though do the eyebrows remind anyone else of that guy on the Munsters ?) This costume can be found here .
