I won't post my resolution, because it's been the same the last few years: MARRY RYAN GOSLING. I will be ringing in another new year with two of my besties, their families, and a smattering of other friends, and ChicagoBoy--yep, he's actually coming up to Michigan! I'm excited that in just hours I will be seeing him!--Prairie Dawn says the person you kiss at midnight on NYE is supposed to be who you spend the rest of your life with; I definitely wouldn't go so far as to say that...I mean I love When Harry Met Sally and everything, but I also realize real life doesn't work like that! I'm definitely not over-thinking anything, I am just psyched to have someone to smooch as a new year rolls in! So, as you make last minute appetizers, or get dressed up to go out for a good meal or party with your friends, be safe and have a wonderful night! May 2014 be a year full of fun and fulfillment for you all. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It seems like we love to review things: books, movies, restaurants, dates. I like to think it's something inherent in man; the first cavemen probably sat around and reviewed the first wheel, the wooly mammoths. Maybe it's because we want to look back and be appreciative of our time, cherish our memories; maybe it's just so we can rehash the good times, hope to hold onto those memories, or maybe we want to relive the bad stuff and be grateful that family, friends, a love pulled us up and out of ourselves; or maybe it's because we just hope to look back and be thankful that we made it out alive. So, here we sit on the cusp of another year. I am still planning on taking a road trip out to Massachusetts to the farm, though that nearly didn't happen. I asked my wonderful mechanic bro A3 to change my oil and flush my transmission for me and upon doing these things he found a few EXPENSIVE other things that needed tending. And being the Boy Wonder that he is, he is fixing everything and footing the bill for my Christmas/Graduation present. He is awesome. However due to the holidays and part stores being closed, my on order parts won't be in until after the 3rd, so no driving to Buffalo to meet up with B1&B2... So, I checked Amtrak and found that the train I needed to get there is sold out already...and so what did this young traveler decide on. *Cringe* That is right, I am taking a good old Greyhound to Buffalo to meet up with B1&B2 and then continue on to the farm in their car.
