Misadventures of the Monster Librarian

Holy Moses! I went and saw Catching Fire Friday night and LOVED it! I enjoyed the books, but man movies are even better! If you haven't already read the books, you're going to want to because you aren't going to be able to wait for Mockingjay to see how it ends after you see Catching Fire! Next on my list is The Book Thief, as I LOVED that book. Also, I just ordered The Secret Life of Walter Mitty --think I want to read the book before I see the movie. What books turned into movies are you excited to see this holiday season?

Saw the movie last night. AWESOME. I felt like it was pretty true to the book, though, of course they couldn't leave everything in. Even though I read the book it was still a nail biter...and I may have screamed when the muttations were chasing the kids...maybe. So many reviews to put up and I still want to share some storytime stuff and tell you all about my cooking program this weekend, but I'm tired. Soon!

The Hunger Games - Official Trailer [HD] I just read The Hunger Games and am now waiting for Catching Fire and Mockingjay to arrive. The Hunger Games was exactly the light kind of read I needed; movie looks fun, looking forward to it...haven't seen a good, fun movie in the theater in a while, so I am hoping the movie is as good as it looks.
